In this second Don Swaim interview, Morris West recalls his experience of discovering that he needed heart surgery. He discusses the Catholic church and has a good deal of criticism to say about the church even though he is a Catholic. Also, Don Swaim asks West how he would change Catholicism if he could. His first book, Kundu, was published in the United States and he talks about staying in Africa to research the book.
