Don Swaim Interviews

Audio Interview with Mary Lee Settle

Mary Lee Settle, author of Turkish Reflections: A Biography of a Place, I, Roger Williams, Addie: A Memoir, and Blood Tie, explains how books have become big business. What was once small business is now big business. Obviously, a book cannot sell if it isn't in the bookstore. That is a problem because if it isn't in a books store, the general public will not know the book even exists. Overall, she is fed up with the publishing industry. She also talks about her life of writing.
