Audio Interview with Lester Cole

Lester Cole, screenplay writer, co-founder of the Screen Writers Guild and one of the Hollywood Ten, talks with Don Swaim in this 1982 interview about why he decided to join the Communist party. He also describes the hearings and trials that were held to combat the Left-Wing members of the Hollywood Motion Picture Industry that eventually led to his imprisonment. Cole is the author of many screenplays, including: Follow Your Heart, Blondes are Dangerous and Blood on the Sun.
