Audio Interview with Glen Baxter |
| Artist
and writer, Glen Baxter talks briefly with Don Swaim in this 1983 interview
about Baxter's background in Leeds, Belgium, and how he moved on to creating
his cartoons. Baxter's interest in art began at the age of four,
and was in competition with his fascination of language. He eventually blended his love for language
with his love for drawing. For Baxter, he found that his work is trying
to express the insanity that he sees in the streets everyday. His books
include Atlas, The Impending Gleam, Trundling Grunts,
Blizzards of Tweed and many others.
