Audio Interview with Arthur Flowers

Arthur Flowers talks about his first novel, De Mojo Blues, and the influence the Vietnam War had on his life. He also discusses the thirteen years that it took him to write his first novel, and how he supported himself during that time. Flowers is the co-founder of the New Renaissance and talks about the group. He also reveals his secret to providing a good writers' workshop, and plays the blues on his harmonica for Don Swaim in this 1986 interview.
